Annie Wats just began her journey into SPICA – Way of Light, University of Divinity. What has occurred for her is one of the gifts of the Universe: A tap on the shoulder to call her to Service. Annie is matriculating through all three degrees with an intention to be a minister and have her own SPICA – Way of Light Affilication Church. Here are her comments of Spiritual Guidance:
Hi Katherine,
I would love to share this experience…Sat. May 1st I officially started my Bachelor degree in the SPICA-Way of Light University of Divinity. Sun. May 2nd one of my clients died who had been dealing with cancer…a bit of a surprise actually. Mon. May 3rd Iwas asked by the daughter of the deceased to officiate her Memorial Service that Sat. May 8th.
I felt deeply honored and a bit nervous at the same time since I’ve never done that form of service before. Well the family was so pleased how everything went during the Service that they have now asked me to do the second scheduled Memorial Service in Carlsbad, CA. May 29th. When I enrolled in the University I never imagined how quickly things would manifest for me…sort of feels like I have taken one level of my practicum, officiating the Memorial Service before having taken a class from the curriculum. Thank you Womanspirit for this Sacred Experience of Service.
