Winter Solstice is a very sacred time. It is the moment and opportunity to be aligned in the sacred place of your Higher Self. To be fully aligned with the Light of your Higher Self, it is appropriate to let go of the past and release into the Silence of your Inner Master.
This cross-quarter ceremony is noted, most often, as Halloween on Oct 31st . The Day after is called All Soul’s Day. These are sacred times of honoring our ancestors. We prepare altars with pictures of those who have passed and honor their soul. We recognize the veil is thin between the consciousness of Earth and the Spirit realms. If we are calm and listen, we can communicate.
This cross-quarter ceremony is best done between August 1st – August 7th (the day the Sun will be at 15 degrees of Leo is August 7th ). It can also occur throughout the month and all the way up to Fall Equinox. Vibrant energy will be supporting you to align with the Universe and the emanating vibrations known to the Druids as Lughasadh and also called Lammas. It is a celebration day of the Sun and the First Harvest of the year. This year Lammas is August 7th at 7:45 a.m. CDT.
On June 21st, 2022 the Sun moves into the sign of Cancer at 4:14 am CDT marking Summer Solstice! It marks the high point, the longest and brightest day of the year when the Sun reaches its zenith and casts three rays of light on the world.
Happy Beltane! I’m continuing with my series on little mini rituals that I can do to celebrate and honor the turning of the Wheel of the Year.
